Why didn't you find me sooner

I found you when you didn't expect it
New York cold and unforgiving sleepless and restless
Alone and afraid of what was out there
Uncertain of who trust and not
the trash you find in every other corner of any city
I and you different people from different worlds
Where I've been and you the same
how did we get to this point
Careless souls of blame
You and I were different before then
Back then we would not agree
No balance would matter
Our lives would have shatterd
We met at the right time and place
Some times you have to race

Please don't wake me ...

If I had a net
To catch every dream
I'd have an eternity
And fold it times ten
Share with who I love
My life is a dream
I share it with all my soul
I give all I can
Times ten fold

— Bear Meat by Primo Levi

"...the sea's only gifts are harsh blows and, occasionally,
the chance to feel strong. Now, I don't know much about the sea, but I do know that that's the way it is here. And I also know how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong but to feel strong to measure yourself at least once, to find yourself at least once in the most ancient of human conditions, facing blind, deaf stone alone, with nothing to help you but your own hands and your own head..."

Just a rant

I believe that passion has been lost from parts of society.
We have become comfortable with simple things in life that are done from a cellular phone or TV.
That no longer appreciate the true beauty of natures variety. Walking done on treadmills like hamsters in a lab to keep in shape. Go for a walk in the forest, on the beach or even in the city. Get out in the raw of nature and thank it for its beauty.
